Koi decided to break the rules and step out of our comfort zone with The Amygdala - a powerful name that perfectly matches the style of these boots. They know their KOI community loves when they take risks, and we're confident that this design will hit the spot! Koi asked themselves, "If someone were to emerge from the gates of Hades, what footwear would they choose?" The answer is clear - The Amygdala Platform Boots with Chains and Charms.
From the bottom up, these boots have been meticulously crafted with intention. The platform is assertive yet balanced, providing height while still maintaining comfort - and Koi made sure of that with rigorous in-house experiments. The chains are in gunmetal and securely fastened with sturdy riveted eyelets, adorned with a variety of unique 'dark' charms. As you walk, the chains will sway naturally without being intrusive, strategically placed to be barely noticeable (yeah, they tried that out too!). We do suggest periodically checking the loops and tightening them with pliers if necessary, although they arrive from the factory in prime condition - although they may naturally loosen over time.
